Conditions within growing rooms are ideal for the reproduction and spread of pathogenic mould and bacteria. The humid conditions found in these environments encourage the growth of pathogens on plants and surfaces. Once a plant becomes infected, the mold releases spores into the air where air movements from the ventilation/air conditioning systems can quickly spread spores to other plants.
